RETAIL STORE SCAFFOLDING FOR HIRE

We were contracted by Waitrose to provide a scaffolding platform on top of the roof on their store in Malvern, so that materials could be hoisted up to install a new flat roof. This project ran over the winter period, and we had to work outside of normal working hours, so we didn’t disrupt the store’s opening hours to general public. A large birdcage scaffold was built on the roof with a scaffolding staircase and loading platform to ensure the safety of the roofing contractors when loading and unloading from the platform.

We were contracted by several high street shops in Lydney for scaffolding for regeneration works. Scaffolding was required mainly for roof repairs and decorating. As per the council and highway permits allowed, we worked on a number of Sundays to complete the work safely while there were fewer pedestrians walking on the high street. While scaffolding on the high street, we use signage diverting pedestrians away from the work site. We also have members of staff directing members of the public to an alternative route. High street scaffolding requirements are different to site scaffolding and residential scaffolding. The first lift must be a minimum of 2.44m high and have a minimum walkway of 1m between the standards. We also install high visibility foam around the standard poles and night lighting.
